Final conference at Renovation Days

The INFINITE Final Conference will take place as part of the third edition of the Italian Renovation Days, hosted at Cariplo Factory, Milano. From the 26 to 28 of November 2025, this three-day event will bring together leading voices from across Europe to showcase cutting-edge technologies and strategies for deep energy retrofitting.
Organised in collaboration with Energiesprong Italy, EDERA, Eurac Research, the European Façade Network, and Politecnico di Milano, the conference will highlight the achievements of the INFINITE project, which has pioneered industrialised, durable building envelope retrofitting using interconnected all-in-one technology solutions.

Central to the conference will be the presentation of prefabricated multifunctional façades developed and tested on real demonstration buildings, such as the Italian demo building of INFINITE. These façades integrate multiple functions (thermal insulation, energy generation, and smart monitoring) into a single modular system: this approach has the potential to be scalable, helping to renovate Europe’s ageing building stock faster and more efficiently.

Participants will be able to

• Explore demonstrations of façade kits applied to pilot sites
• Dive deep into design, manufacturing, and installation processes
• Learn from best practices of building retrofit in Europe
• Discuss policy frameworks supporting industrialised renovation
• Try digital tools for lifecycle-based design and monitoring
• Brainstorm on collaborative models for scaling innovation across regions

The conference will bring together a diverse audience of international experts, industry professionals, students, and institutional stakeholders, including members of the Energiesprong network and students from the FACE – Façades Architecture Construction Engineering programme of Eurac Research, starting in autumn 2025.

As Europe accelerates its path toward climate neutrality, this event aims show ready, applicable solutions and spark new collaborations across different players involved in building renovation.
