Webinar on green prefabricated facades for retrofit

We’ve been working on nature-based solutions since the very beginning of the project, and there’s now a shared understanding that they can make our cities our cities more resilient, sustainable, and beautiful. Among these, there are also green façades, such as the one developed and installed in the Slovenian demo building.

We’ve had the opportunity to describe our prefabricated green façades in the European Federation of Green Roof and Living Wall Associations webinar “Retrofitting the Blue-Green City Quarter.

Martino Gubert, Eurac Research, introduced INFINITE’s approach to industrialised deep renovation with integrated green façades, and discussed together with Oliver Ringelstein, INTEWA GmbH and Sergio Andri, HARPO Group.

The webinar explored innovative products and services such as water recycling systems, stormwater management technologies, and advanced green roofs designed to mitigate heat and manage rainfall.

Together, the speakers showed how industrialised renovation and nature-based design can work hand in hand to shape the next generation of climate-resilient city quarters.
