Industrialised Deep Renovation Outlook: 1st edition online
The 1st edition of the Industrialised Deep Renovation Outlook has been published, aiming to raise awareness about the potential of the ‘Renovation 4.0’ approach.
The report, curated by EDERA, outlines the regulatory framework and objectives set by Europe to achieve rapid and effective decarbonisation. It addresses the current environmental, economic, and social challenges faced by the construction sector and explains the concept of Industrialised Deep Renovation, highlighting its benefits over traditional methods.
The importance of this report lies in its comprehensive approach to sustainable building renovation. Central to the report are best practices in research and development, including European LIFE and Horizon projects, and the international Energiesprong movement. The report also presents numerous pilot projects and significant interventions in Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and Italy.
The second edition, scheduled for January 2026, will focus on the market potential of offsite retrofit, the main active players, and the most popular technological solutions, along with related cost-benefit analyses.
If you are interested in the state of the art of industrialised retrofitting, the report is available for download.
