Digital tools, real buildings at the One Team BIM Conference

On 25 February 2025, INFINITE will take part in the One Team BIM Conference – On the Road in Turin, a full day dedicated to BIM, GIS, AI and digital transformation.

From climate change and energy efficiency, to IoT data, Digital Twins, and AI-driven processes, the conference will explore how data and digital tools can support more effective and sustainable construction and renovation workflows.

This is a key aspect for INFINITE, which has developed a concrete digital workflow that starts from a real renovation case and shows how complexity can be handled collaboratively.

For example, a the BIM model by Casa SpA can be uploaded into One Team’s BIM-P. This connects multiple tools and plugins developed by INFINITE partners each one focusing on a specific aspect of renovation (LCA, LCC, energy). The result is a shared digital environment where design, analysis, and decision-making come together to support industrialised deep renovation.

In the afternoon session, we will bring this workflow and we will contribute to the discussion on industrialised deep renovation and digitalisation, with:

• Diego Tamburrini (Eurac Research) presenting INFINITE: deep renovation with industrialised multifunctional solutions
• Gabriele Zini (ZGAArchitettura) sharing insights from the Italian demo in Greve in Chianti, based on multifunctional façades
• Contributions from One Team, EDERA, and Politecnico di Torino on offsite construction, digital applications, and AI for retrofit
